Merry Christmas to you!!
Not sure if anyone even checks back here... haven't posted in such a long time. Well, tonight I've cleaned off the cobwebs and did a little Christmas card with Stamping Bella's Polly Packages.
Actually my good friend Gabriella (Gabi with an Eye) has cleverly challenged me to making a card and using our newly purchased SU! papers: Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. We had both just ordered them and have been dying to use them.
So out came Polly Packages and coloured her up with Copics. Again. And again. (So many mistakes!) But when I was finally happy with it, I plopped her out with Spellbinder oval dye cut & Labels 10. I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder on the back panel of Early Espresso and sewed everything together on a final layer of Whisper White. Satin chocolate ribbon & May Arts polka dot ribbon with a few adhesive pearls... and a little glitter... finished her off.
Thanks for popping in... I'll try not to be so long in between posts next time. Have a great Christmas!

Love those colors, so rich looking. Love all your layers too!
Way to go, Carla! You nailed the challenge (as I knew you would). Goodness, that Polly Packages is just wonderful. I adore the whimsy and your coloring is perfect. What a lovely card, my friend! We really ought to do this more often.

Carla, I love the weight you gave this bella by giving her a background and GROUND to stand on. Gorgeous card!
Merry Christmas to you, friend!!!
Beautiful! These colors are scrumptious! Reminds me of chocolate covered cherries. Brown and red of any shade has always been a favorite of mine. Lovely details here!
