Baptismal Card

I was asked by my sister in law to make her a Baptismal card. After much fussing (and even trying to channel Elly - lol)... I came up with this:

Can't believe I didn't use any ribbon - seriously must be a first for me... but it just wouldn't fit - LOL.  I kept the inside pretty simple:

The large border is a Martha Stewart punch - love it!  Picked it up at Michael's on my way home last night.  The sentiment on the front was just typed on my computer and printed, but the cross & sentiment on the inside are from Verve.

Well I'm off to give this punch another go.  Happy Weekend all!!

What a beautiful baptism card. I'm in love with the tiny print on your DP and all the lacy die cuts. The die cut resembling an open book is perfect! Your cards are the creme de la creme, Carla. (and so are you)

The card is perfect for the occasion. I always find them hard. The MS punch looks like it is going to get some good use in your hands! Have fun...I will be looking to see what else you create with it. :) Hugs....

Gorgeous Carla! Love all your layers. You are the queen of 'dies'. A perfect keepsake. I too, love Elly's creations!

Pauline was the Queen of Dies to me and she is saying you are? omg, this is just a stunning card for a Baptism. I would be broke trying to keep up with all the dies out there, so I will just keep an eye on you & Pauline. :) back to work :( for me.
